Senior Level Project Manager -
Sacramento, CA

Looking for someone who has experience on the business side running large multi-million dollar technical projects. A bonus would be someone who has BPM experience and experience with RUP development methodology. This person will have 7-8 direct reports (including contractors) and will have to interact with very Sr level executives.


This position acts as the single point of accountability for delivering large scale, complex and cross-functional projects on time and on budget; directs the activities of team members on multiple projects to ensure they provide high quality and cost effective services; designs and develops approaches to projects, ensuring the strategic directions of projects are in line with business objectives.
Job requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 5 to 10 years cross-functional, cross-disciplinary project management and business analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience writing business requirements.

Experience managing complex projects with multi-month timelines.

Experience managing organization change and communication issues.

Experience with process improvement.

Experience developing strategic business plans.

Substantial knowledge of the key components of project management (e.g.-scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, integration) and associated tools and methodologies.

Proficiency with MS Project and PowerPoint.

Project management certification (e.g.- PMI) desirable.

Quality management experience (e.g.- Six Sigma) desirable.
