Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Sr. Business Systems Analyst on a contract opportunity with a leading company in Rochester, New York.

In this position candidates will be supporting warehouse management system within the distribution center. Works with key system users to optimize and improve system performance. Provides expertise in distribution WMS, coordinates systems changes and trouble shoots critical production issues.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES:
Expert is all systems and business process used within functional area
Responsible for documenting detailed Functional Specifications for system changes
Primary liaison between IT, vendors and users to ensure new system requirements are built as required and that business needs are met
Directs activities of Business Systems Analysts and Systems Specialists
Acts as Project Manager for system implementations and changes
Oversees testing activities and ensures testing is completed accurately and efficiently
Collaborate on issues and new functionality cross functionally and cross regionally in an effort to create global solutions
Troubleshoot critical production issues
Troubleshoot complex issues that have been escalated from the Systems Specialists/Business Systems Analysts
Recommend business process and business systems improvements and alternatives
Assist with testing when necessary

GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required and/or a combination of education and experience resulting in a sound understanding of job responsibilities.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in industry/system analysis, and ERP system experience, related to assigned functional activities.
Must possess/acquire detailed knowledge of our business, and systems within the assigned area of responsibility.
Cross-Functional understanding of the business process, and systems to circumvent cross-functional gaps.

Excellent analytical skills
Be highly organized and diligent with follow-through
Be capable working independently as well as in a team environment
Present a professional and positive presence and interface with multiple roles within the organization.

Working Conditions:
Business Systems Analysts will work within current country of residence, at primary site/department of support. Travel may be required to support regional and global activities and projects, up to an estimated 10%. Otherwise, normal office environment with sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job. Due to travel and scope of responsibilities, extra hours will be required as needed. Standard company guidelines for travel and expenses apply.
