Sr. .Net Internet Engineer / developer position

A client of ours, in the beautiful city of Knoxville, TN near the Smokey Mountains (where the cost of living is still low, beautiful big affordable homes, good schools and no state tax) is looking at hiring 2-3 additional Sr. C#.NET Internet Engineers. The C#.Net Engineers will join an existing software development staff in the support and custom development of both internal operational systems and e-commerce systems.

Experience/Skills
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following:

* B.S. in Computer Science (Masters Degree is preferred) from a U.S. based college
* 2 or more year*s C# experience (required)
* Extensive .Net Framework experience preferred
* A very strong Software Development background is a must
* A fundamental career upbringing through the C or Java programming language is a plus.
* Intimate knowledge of Key aspects of Computer Science such as Data Structures, Algorithms, operating Systems, and Databases are essential.
Specific Requirements: (You will be asked about your experience level in these areas.)

1. Strong Object Oriented programming background
2. 2 or more years of C# development experience
3. Experience w/ASP.Net using C# to include Web Controls, User Controls, Web Services, HTTP Handlers and HTTP Modules.
4. Experience w/.Net Remoting, MSMQ, and COM+
5. Experience w/ IIS server(5 or 6)
6. Experience w/ Oracle 8, 9i, 10g and ADO.net
7. Experience w/ XML, XSLT and SOAP
8. Experience w/ various Open Source technologies
9. Experience w/ ASP, VB 5/6, VBScript, CSS is required
10. Experience w/ a unit testing framework, XUnit, NUnit, ect.
11. Excellent analytical / Problem Solving skills
12. Excellent documentation and communication skills
13. Strong commitment to developing quality software
14. A Team Player when necessary
15. Open source .Net framework development is a plus
16. Ecommerce development experience is a plus
