Description
Incredible position available in stable, well known organization. Networking/Consulting company has urgent need for a Sr. Cisco Network Engineer who is available for long & short term contracts, all over the Phoenix valley. Responsibilities will include installing 100+ new Cisco 6500 switches & will need to be able to interpret existing configs and understand how the hardware fits into the overall network design. Required skills are: solid understanding of Cisco 6500 switching platforms, proficient in Cisco Command Line Interface, able to interpret routing tables and troubleshoot interface status, experience implementing high availability data center network designs, solid understanding of IP routing protocols, & ability to load new IOS software images onto a Cisco switch.
