GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:
TRASYS, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. Controls Development Engineer for a Direct Hire Position in Cincinnati, OH.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs, develops, and tests the software configuration and start up of controls equipment, components, or systems.
Plans and implements research methodology and procedures related to engineering projects.
Prepares and analyzes technical drawings, specifications, and maps to ensure installations and operations conform standards and customer requirements.
Coordinates installation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and customer requirements.
Inspects completed installations and observes on-going operations for conformance to specifications, as well as operational, safety, and quality standards. Performance of this responsibility may require frequent customer interaction and some travel to installation worksite.
At the more experienced level will plan and conduct large, important projects. On a project basis, may coordinate work responsibilities of others.
Acts as a liaison with other departments, divisions, and organizations.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Client is looking for candidates with various experience levels, the candidate should have a good understanding of software development process, real time control software, good organizational skills and ideally windows development background.
This position requires 5+ years experience in Microsoft.net including C#, VB.Net, Net Forms' tools, Remoting and traditional C/C++/VB6 skills. Open GL skills and knowledge of graphics. HMI and Machine Control experience is a plus.
Bachelors degree in computer engineering or equivalent is preferred.
Travel will be 30-50%df-tc
