Sr. DBALocation: Redwood City, CAJob Description: You will be responsible for: * Managing Database operations, and all things database related * Assisting with the design and implementation of our platform * Researching new platform architectures to support business requirements * Assisting with complex query development/tuning * Assisting with data-mining and data warehousing activities You bring to the table your: * Motivation and ability to quickly learn * MySQL experience of at least 4 years * Strong knowledge of Replication/Clustering/Tuning/Sizing/Monitoring * Strong knowledge of RedHat Linux (3 years) * Strong knowledge of MySQL 5.0 InnoDB .Strong knowledge or Backup/Recovery/Upgrade procedures. .Expectation to be challenged * High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic In addition, the following would be a plus: * MySQL 5 Certification * Experience with large data sets (100M rows ) * Experience with database sharing * Familiarity with the Payment Card Industry and various Acquirers/Processors * Understanding of the chargeback processdf-tc
