Description

Senior Design Engineer
Parsons Corporation, a multi-national company and contractor to the Department of Energy (DOE), is currently seeking an individual to assume the responsibilities as a SeniorDesign Engineer at the NETL site in Morgantown, WV. This position will require the incumbent to utilize multi-disciplinary skills to achieve the goals and responsibilities for this position.


This engineering position will require the incumbent to interface with the NETL customer to develop case studies of complex engineering information and electronic records.



Specific responsibilities of this position include:df-tc

Experience/Skills
Senior Mechanical Designer with 7+ years experience. Must have experience light structural layout, process system design with framed skid layout experience. Advanced CAD experience such as Pro E, Solidworks, or Inventor is a must. Must be self starter and be able to progress from engineering input to fully developed concept or finished drawings with little oversight. Must be familiar with the application of mechanical codes to include bolting, welding, piping, and standard building codes. Must have a broad industry knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, structural shapes for laying out mobile process skids.
