Description
Robert Half Technology has an immediate opening for a Sr. Desktop Support Engineer with one of our clients in the Atlanta area. Global financial services company providing banking, investments, life insurance and retirement services. That serves more than 75 million customers in Europe, the United States, Canada, Latin America, Asia and Australia. Provide engineering support for information systems, computer networks, telecommunications devices, servers, and workstations. Perform analysis at all levels to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation. Develops and maintains desktop/laptop operating system images and applications. QUALIFICATIONS: Requires special technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and network support for multiple users. Must understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, networking and accessory equipment.Must have advanced experience with MS Office suite and Windows skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Develop and maintains desktop operating systems and applications.• Create unassisted installs quarterly for updating software, installing new software and install custom desktop configurations• Create original utility programs aimed at automating user profile setups, regional specific setups, network connections, and custom menu programs for all laptop configurations• Analyzes and maintains computer applications, procedures and other systems that satisfy the needs of the user departments. • Provides tier III support for all desktop technicians.• Provides users with network technical support responding to the needs and questions of end users regarding their access to resources on the network. • Communication to end-users, management, and any call/problem tracking system regarding status of reported problems/projects.If you have any question please contact Michael Stevens at 404-233-1382 or Michael.stevens@rht.com
