Job Description
Candidate will be a part of the A-B .NET Center of Excellence. Individuals within this group are assigned to .NET development projects to implement and maintain applications to support business operations across the enterprise. Some of the business areas include - Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, Admin, Packaging, Purchasing & Brewery, Logistics and BEC. The candidate would be directly responsible for supporting applications and the underlying infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities
1) Provide application support in a 24 x 7 environment supporting .Net applications.
2) Programming, unit testing and deployment of applications using the Microsoft .NET application environment.
3) Work with testing resources to effectively test code and resolve issues.
4) Assist with documenting requirements (or other project documentation) as needed; includes collaborative meetings with customers.

Required General Skills
1) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at multiple levels, including: programmers, non-technical project managers, business analysts, and customers.
2) Must be a self-starter, work well in a team environment, and be able to work with minimal direction. Must display flexibility and initiative. Ability to quickly learn multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment.
3) Minimum 3 years software development experience, with majority of recent experience with Microsoft development technologies. Including, experience with full life-cycle system delivery methodologies, PM concepts and basic IT principles.
4) Experienced in developing and supporting large scale, corporate business applications. Analysis and design skills for multi-platform applications (web based, client server).
5) Strong problem solving & analytical skills for Client/Server & web-based applications. Must demonstrate effective organizational skills, demonstrated by ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, & be attentive to detail.

General Qualifications
Degree Preference: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Math or related field

Experience/Skills
Required Technical Skills
1) Developer-.NET C# - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
Should have good working knowledge and practical development experience using C# and VB. Must have recent experience with VB, VS .NET 2005 using C# and WinForms, as well as VB 6.0 WinForms. Experience with the Infragistics control suite is a plus.
2) Experience developing with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server Databases. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
Particular focus on development and support of applications utilizing Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server Databases.
3) Object Oriented analysis, design and development. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
Must show a good understanding of OO concepts and have practical experience in applying these concepts on multiple projects.

Preferred Technical Skills
1) Ability to troubleshoot errors on multiple platforms. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
2) Familiarity with unit testing using NUnit - Novice with 1 year(s) experience.
