We are seeking an ETL Developer for a 6-month contract in Rockville, MD.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the operations group and ETL team in configuring and maintaining the ETL/Informatica 8.6.1 environment.
- Work with the BI team to provide data management and provision data to the team for BI and reporting purposes.
- Develop ETL flows and code for new integrations.
- Ensure delivered ETL code is running and conforms to specifications and design guidelines.
- Provide unit testing of ETL code to ensure it can be delivered and run in a development and production environment.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews of ETL components.
- Navigate on the host server for file management, file cleanup and configuration tasks.
- Query source and target databases for unit testing.
- Create, troubleshoot and tune complex mapping. Set up complex workflows and schedules.
- Administer ETL system and upgrades to new releases.
- Maintain Informatica on UNIX and Windows environments.
- Write Shell scripts, PL/SQL scripts and SQL scripts.

Requirements:
- 6 years experience with: (a) ETL and database solution development using database SQL language for user-defined database extracts or update statements, data migration and data integration; (b) SQL and database programming; (c) Unix Administration; (d) Oracle 9i, 10g; (e) Informatica 7.x/8.x Platform
- Experience with migration of Informatica mappings from Oracle to Netezza/Teradata highly preferred.
