The Senior Electrical Designer is responsible for electrical design of industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology projects. Position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and good working knowledge of spread sheet applications and word processing.df-tc

Experience/Skills
ESSENTIALS:

-Prepares working drawings of electrical systems consisting of one line diagrams, lighting, power, electrical area classification, grounding, emergency power, motor controls, electrical heat tracing, lightning protection, cable tray, fire alarm, public address, security, card access, etc.

-Develops raceway and cable schedules and lighting calculations.

-As Lead Designer may direct, guide, and check work of a team of designers and CAD operators on a specific project.

-8 to 10 years' experience in design of electrical power systems for industrial facilities and electrical systems / basic electricity coursework.
