Opportunity: Electrical Engineer, PE Project Manager (Professional Engineer)

Industry: Building/ Facility Power & Lighting Distribution

Office Location: Portland, Oregon

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 annual base salary (DOE) plus exceptional cash performance bonuses and full covered medical, dental, vision benefits, etc.

Fifty plus year experienced Electrical Engineering Consulting firm actively seeks Licensed Electrical Engineer with significant industrial building facility and/or water & wastewater treatment plant facility power and lighting distribution experience for long term project management, junior staff development, and client relations building role within our dynamic Portland, OR office.

Our firm provides a variety of electrical engineering services for a highly diverse range of projects such as:

• Building and Site Power Distribution
• Generators, UPS, and Essential Electrical Systems
• Interior and Exterior Lighting Design
• Automatic Lighting and Energy Controls
• Telecommunications Infrastructure
• Data Network Infrastructure
• Fire Alarm Systems
• CATV Distribution
• Sound, PA/Intercom, and Signal Systems
• Motor Controls, Drives, and PLCs
• SCADA Systems and Process Controls

Ideal Electrical Engineer, PE Qualifications & Experience:


5+ years of industrial facility power and lighting distribution electrical engineering industry experience preferable pertaining to power and lighting systems of industrial buildings, water / wastewater treatment plants, or healthcare, commercial, institutional, civic, educational, and/or other public sector building and facilities.

Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering and current registration as a state licensed Professional Engineer, PE.

Must have project management level experience and the ability to oversee power and lighting Electrical Engineering systems projects that are industrial in nature from overall conception and design through completion.

Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD drafting & design software is preferred.

Must have strong client and consultant coordination or interaction skills.
