Description
* Implement the specified designs using RTL level C/C++ and VHDL and verify the designs with C/C++ and VHDL logic simulation and testbenches.
* Provide support for the integration of the modem components into ASIC and FPGA platforms.
* Work closely with other members within the ASIC/DSP team in the specification, design, verification and testing of wireless modem subcomponents.
* Interact with systems engineering in evaluating practical implementations of proposed functions and to aid systems engineering in providing detailed functional specifications of the design.df-tc

Experience/Skills
* 3+ years experience in designing and developing products involving digital signal processing and SoC ASIC design for small handheld consumer devices.
* Skilled in the use of VHDL to model hardware modem components.
* Knowledge of synthesis tools, FPGA Place & Route tools, and knowledge of DSP.
* BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent preferred.
