Our client, a premier provider of IT integration solutions, and leading CISCO partner, has an immediate need for a SR. NETWORK ENGINEER for Ft Lauderdale. The Senior Network Engineer is a multifaceted position requiring three primary activities with responsibilities in pre-sales system and network design, network implementations, and customer technical support. This position involves approximately 30-50% travel within the GULF STATE regions and could be based out of any area within the Southeast states (from Florida, Atlanta GA, North Carolina, TN, OK)


This position will provide support and design for VoIP telephony infrastructure with a leader in the online financial services industry. Responsibilities will periodically include tier 2 supports for operational issues for VoIP, traditional voice and data systems. As a Cisco IPCC Engineer you will be responsible for the technical leadership, architectural design, project management, and deployment of Cisco IPCC solutions.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the engineering, configuration, installation, maintenance and upgrade of the companies VoIP deployment, supporting applications and network hardware.
Installs Cisco IPCC software, hardware setup & testing, remote monitoring, scripting, and integration with other enterprise applications.
Leads technical projects to reduce cost, improve service or provide innovated business solutions consistent with the business strategies.
Primary skills:

5 years experience in telecom engineering with VoIP design and architecture.
2 + years experience with voice infrastructures design and support in a Cisco environment.
Experience with multi-site configurations in systems engineering and administration role within Fortune 1000 companies preferred.
Strong background in Avaya Definity/Intuity Voice Mail systems and Aspect ACD along with experience in conversion from these systems to Cisco IPCC
Cisco IPT VoIP design, IPCC, Cisco Call Manager, Voice Gateways, and Cisco IP-IVR/Queue Manager.
CISCO ICM/IPCC Scripting Experience, CISCO Translation Routing, CTI/CTIOS Experience, Admin Workstation, Web View,
CISCO Network Interface Controller (NIC)
ACD/PBX Peripheral Gateway configuration experience with Aspect and Avaya
Cisco Call Manager configuration and troubleshooting experience
IVR Peripheral Gateway configuration experience: (Syntellect, Periphonics, Conversant, Edify)
Cisco IP-IVR configuration and Scripting experience
Minimum Education, Certification, Training:

Pre-Sales experience highly desired.
