TITLE: Senior Engineer - Network Engineer
POSITION REPORTS TO: Manager

Location is North Canton, Ohio (but other areas of the US might work w/o moving to Ohio)
Full time position with full benefits and 401k .
Salary $80K to $90K depending on experience plus a potential company wide bonus plan.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, or equivalent, and six years of related experience and/or training, or combination of education and experience; expertise in installation, configuration, testing, tuning and management of applications deployed to web servers, application servers, database servers, and networking equipment and software; experience and working knowledge of application servers (BEA Weblogic, JBoss, Websphere or equivalent), relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or equivalent), and computer and networking hardware; understanding of networking, routing and firewall technology advantageous; ability to handle critical customer situations; ability to travel; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Works with technical experts both internally as well as acting as our technical liaison to customers.

2. Provides technical analysis and support for application servers.

3. Provides technical analysis and support for J2EE applications.

4. Provides technical analysis and support for server and PC operating systems.

5. Provides technical analysis and support for database servers.

6. Performs systems and network performance and deployment testing.

7. Conducts systems deployment and support.

8. Troubleshoots application performance issues.

9. Provides technical guidance and assistance to other technical specialists.

10. Works with external vendors as necessary.

11. Writes clear and concise technical documents.

12. Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the attached performance criteria.

13. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
