Warner Bros. Entertainment Studios in Burbank California is expanding its SAP footprint and the Warner Bros. internal recruiting team is actively seeking individuals to staff over 50 positions for our SAP Supply Chain implementation Project name Vanguard. The implementation will support the Warner Bros. Home Video/DVD Production global business unit, the largest home video business in the world. We are currently out of blueprint and ready for phase 2, which means we are ready for the majority of the team to start.

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst for the MIS WHV Service Management department.

  • This position is responsible for assisting with the SAP design, configuration, testing, implementation and documentation of the Warner Home Video Global Supply Chain initiative.
  • Integral team member contributing in the design of SAP systems.
  • This includes translating business requirements into sustainable functional designs and documentation, in particular of the financial aspects to ensure the business requirements are met.
  • Ensures processes and supporting SAP system functionality can be adopted on a global basis.
  • Proactively shares SAP/business knowledge with others on the team.
  • Assist with and develop/ perform unit tests in accordance with project deliverables.
  • Executes comprehensive testing plans, collects test results and publish findings.
  • Manages tasks list, issue resolution, design gaps and project deliverables assigned.
  • Provides advice and guidance on approaches to best practice to proper business accounting practices.
  • Integrates with other key groups pre production, supply chain, order management, management reporting, purchasing and data architect, to ensure SAP solutions are aligned properly to meet global business requirements.
  • Develops, maintains and publishes global SAP standards and guiding principles.
  • Responsible for the creation of configuration documentation, BPPs, conversion forms, functional specifications and all other project documentation.
  • Develops and conducts training & knowledge transfer to users. Works independently or in a team approach.


    Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Software engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge financial accounting in the media industry, including accounts payable, general ledger, cash management, accruals, month end processing, revenue recognition, foreign currency translation, balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statements.
  • Familiar with application development and deployment life cycle methodologies.
  • Experience implementing and/ or supporting SAP (FI module in particular).
  • Understand touch points for integration between SD, MM and FI. Understand integration between SAP and other systems to support business processes.
  • Understanding of consumer products business process including product sourcing, order to cash, and purchase to payables.
  • Experience in systems landscape, across several applications to support business process goals.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated broad technical and functional knowledge, management discipline, strong leadership, strong organization skills, creativity and technical vision.
  • Understand System flow charts, business process charts, that represent business process flows across and enterprise.
  • Strong communications skills are essential; must possess an ability to write succinctly and make effective presentations.
  • Technical Design Document/Specification writing, for existing and new technical objects such as Interfaces, reports, conversions, enhancements from a Functional side.
  • Good technical knowledge of interface documentation, testing, implementation and support.
  • Working knowledge of Warner Bros CFI implementation and business processes especially close processes.
