Description
Senior Health writer for women's health clearinghouse. Will be responsible for writing, editing and proofreading web site content and other health materials and publications for various audiences, including women, minorities, adolescents and low literacy audiences. Also will be responsible for conducting research on various women's health and adolescent health issues. This position involves attending conferences and seminars to remain educated on recent research findings in women's health and adolescent health. Must be able to handle multiple writing tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

requires ability to write and edit health communication or education materials for women, low literacy populations and adolescent audiences. Experience researching health information with online databases like MEDLINE, CHID, etc. Experience working with graphic artists to produce printed education materials. Experience working with health care providers and researchers to finalize education materials with expert content and review. Portfolio of previous writing products required. Requires MS in Health Education, public health, writing or related field or equivalent and 5-6 years of related experience.
Prefer candidates with willingness to work as team players to complete projects on tight deadlines.df-tc
