Sr. IT Business AnalystLocation: Mountain View, CALength: 5-6 monthsDescription: This position is for a BA on the Sales Reporting team. The Sales Reporting team supports the internal Sales community by providing applications and reports that make sales and customer data easier for user to find, analysis and act on. 1) Developing Requirement Work Plans 2) Eliciting Requirements 3) Documenting Requirements (Business Requirements Document and Functional Specification Document) 4) Supporting QA and Development team during the development and QA cycles. 5) Developing Functional and User Acceptance test plans and coordinating testing cycles. 6) Completing project closure activities. Skills:Ability to effectively work as a liaison among project stakeholders - Ability to understand and document business problems - Experience in working as a Business Analyst during the full lifecycle of an IT project. - Experience with multiple requirement elicitation techniques - Experience with multiple requirement modeling techniques - Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution - Ability to run basic SQL queries - Functional understanding of data models (table relationships, types of joints etc) - Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills - Self motivated NICE TO HAVE - Working knowledge of Business Objects Reporting (able to pull basic reports via Business Objects). Education:EDUCATION: Bachelors degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience. RELATED EXPERIENCE DESIRED 6 years in IT business analysis or support positions with high-level problem solving and functional system and project delivery and/or management experience.df-tc
