DEPARTMENT: MSI Business Programs
TITLE: Sr. IT Manager
GRADE LEVEL: 11T
REPORTS TO: IT Director
LOCATION: Hayward, CA

OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, including lower level managers across functional areas. The position also includes coordinating projects and support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a staff of IT professionals and managers.
Coordinate projects and support
Assist in the development of the application / technical architecture
Evaluate demand plan team projects and responsibilities
Develop resources and cross train as appropriate
Act as business Liaison for design and deployment of IT solutions
Manage Large projects and report status
Perform interim and annual performance reviews
Assist in the budget process
Understand the functional business requirements as necessary to provide sound IT solutions.
Evaluate environment and recommend upgrades or updates to software / infrastructure to enhance business capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science degree in MIS, Business or related field
5-7 years of Project / Technical team leadership
3-5 years experience in IT Leadership
Ability to work in a Structured IT environment
Knowledge of multiple functional areas
Knowledge of information technology concepts practices
Experience in systems design and implementation.
Experience with project management, requirements gathering and systems documentation.
Some travel required.

JOB SPECIFIC:
Oracle application suite with Siebel experience preferred
