We are looking for an Sr. Intel Specialist in Santa Cruz, California.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily operation of large enterprise server and storage systems.

  • Planning, designing, and implementing new server hardware and software.

  • System health monitoring of all server system components.

  • Supporting/troubleshooting performance issues.

  • Project implementation; provides advice, training, and technical support to customers, leaders, and support staff.

  • Prescribes system backup procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components.

  • Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls.

  • Installs server related hardware and software according to schedule, scope of objectives, and standards.

  • Creates and maintains documentation on the client's server environment.

    Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of design, architecture, and deployment of Windows NT/2000 servers.

  • 2+ years of design, architecture, and deployment of Novell Netware 4.x servers and NDS.

  • 4+ years of experience in troubleshooting server hardware problems

  • 4+ years of Active Directory experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Networking hardware infrastructure and principles.

  • Proven knowledge of WINS and a working knowledge of DNS.

  • Ability to manage projects with little supervision and direction.
