Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to

  • Analyze and report E-commerce Web metrics using Google Analytics and Omniture.
  • Manage e-merchandising campaigns via weekly/daily/monthly Web promotions.
  • Apply customer segmentation strategies to promotional strategies.
  • Pro-actively search for new opportunities to market products on the Web.
  • Analyze promotion performance and make data driven decisions to determine placement and most effective way of merchandising products.
  • Assist Graphics Designers with 'leading edge' marketing concepts.
  • Analyze and report E-commerce activities from competitors to discover growth opportunities for future Web marketing campaigns.
  • Create and organize e-mail campaigns and monitor campaign performance.
  • Perform search engine optimization best practices to improve organic search rankings across Google, Yahoo, MSN, and Live .
  • Other Duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Effective analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment.
  • Established track record in Web marketing and merchandising.
  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, and managing PPC (Pay Per Click) campaigns is preferred.
  • Knowledge with SEO & SEM tools like Omniture, SEO Elite, Arelis, etc.
  • Understanding of relational database experience SQL, Access, etc.
  • Experience with HTML and Web Editing tools such as Adobe.
  • Experience with forecast21 and similar marketing forecasting software is a plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; at least three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common trade and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write basic copy and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format. Must have the ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must have the ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Needs to be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems and collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. The ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables is desirable.
