Our client is one of the leaders in intelligent network solutions and software to utilities for advanced metering.Essential Functions * Define a common architecture that lends itself to a highly configurable, multi-tenant systems that easily integrate within a ecosystem of ERPs, MDMs, NMS for large utility companies* Work with other technical/product/support teams to propose business solutions by prototyping features that address customer needs* You will be implementing design patterns, imbibing development guidelines & processes, implementing new features, and working closely with QA in the testing process * Mentoring team on developing best of the breed development practices and providing thought leadership* Should be a hands on coder
Position Requirements * 10+ years of experience designing large scale applications in a Java/JEE environment* Expertise in generics, Hibernate, Dozer, JMS, JDBC, GWT, Spring* Have worked on developing a multi-threaded, transactional enterprise application* Designed and implemented Web tier using GWT or comparable Web2.0 technologies* Experience developing a meta data driven configurable system* Expertise exposing business services via components like Axis2, CXF, XFire, Restlets* Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture is highly desired.* Exposure to ESB frameworks, process choreography, and integration frameworks and standards* Experience with Business Process and Business Activity Modeling a big plus.* Expertise on DI frameworks like Spring* Understanding of O/R concepts and expertise with Hibernate* Strong database knowledge and understanding features like partitioning, tuning for multi-tenant applications* Knowledge of wireless network architecture including but not limited to short range wireless, GSM/GPRS, WCDMA/UMTS* Exposure to network management systems and experience with IBM solutions/Hyperic/Naggios desirable* Expertise on one of mainstream J2EE application Servers like Weblogic, WebSphere, Jboss with a deployment on Unix platformEducation & Certification* BS in Computer Science or equivalent (MS preferred)
