Our client is software development company located in the Bay Area that specializes in developing applications for the growing transportation and logistics industry. They are in search of a Sr. Java/J2EE Developer for a full-time employee position complete with a competitive annual salary and very comprehensive benefits package including 3 weeks of PTO (personal time off) plus the week off between Christmas and New Years, and generous stock options.

Experience/Skills
Required Skills & Experience:

--> 7+ years of software development experience including extensive Java/J2EE development experience
--> Experience with Apache, Tomcat, and/or JBoss
-Experience developing network-enabled software (familiarity with OSI model, tcp, udp, http, ssl, ftp, etc.).
--> Experience building scalable and highly available systems
--> Experience with Unit testing (NUnit, JUnit, etc.)
--> Experience developing windows Services or Unix daemon
--> Experience with XML, XSLT, SOAP, or UDDI
--> BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
--> Experience working for successful software product/development companies is highly desirable
