Description
The initial assignment will be to assist existing staff to extend an existing J2EE Web based user interface.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years prior professional experience as one of several team members using J2EE technologies such as Java, Hibernate, Struts 2, AJAX, Spring, JMS, XML, Eclipse, and others in an agile test-driven development environment. Candidates must possess a solid technical base and be comfortable working across application tiers.

Candidates must have a Master's degrees in a technical field, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 or more years of specifically relevant professional experience.

Non-UI work involves work under Linux and with SQL-based databases and candidates must have 4+ years working with Unix, Linux, and relational database experience.

This is a contract to hire position. Experience or aptitude to fill responsible/leadership software engineering roles is a plus and will influence any subsequent consideration for conversion to employee status.
