Description
Sr. Java/Web DeveloperThe candidate must possess strong skills and knowledge in Web technologies such as Java, Servlets, Swing, Applets and/or HTML/DHTML etc. Additional experience includes MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture, Jakarta Struts, Tiles and Struts Framework.Skills:Java (minimum of 3-4 years of experience) Java Server Pages (JSP), Java Servlets programming - ( minimum of 2-3 years of experience) Swing (minimum of 1-2 years of experience) Good knowledge of XML / XSLT, XPath related standards & technologies Strong knowledge of Struts Knowledge of Portlet API Tomcat Understanding of common Design Patterns At least 1-2 years experience (academic level is acceptable) in other programming technologies (e.g. C++)Qualifications:Ability to work effectively in team environment Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to learn new skills and technologies as needed Preferred skills (not required, but a plus)Understanding of graphic design and its application to UI design Familiarity with Unix programming
