Description
Our client located in downtown Denver is looking for the right candidate to join their team. This client has been very successful in the energy industry and is growing. This individual will have primary responsibility for a wide variety of network areas including: Cisco Routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, IDS, Riverbed Wan Accelerators, Wan circuits, Ciscoworks monitoring, CiscoSecure ACS, daily device log reviews and proactive system patching, upgrade and replacement. Candidate will be responsible for the following:• All areas of network device and circuit management, corporate wide, currently two main sites and 25 remote sites. • Tier two and three support for all network services including but not limited to: Cisco Routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, IDS, Riverbed Wan Accelerators, Wan circuits, Voice PRI circuits, Ciscoworks monitoring, CiscoSecure ACS, daily device syslog reviews and proactive system patching, upgrade and replacement. • Use available tools to diagnose problems or areas of risk to minimize server and system downtime across the enterprise• Prioritizing issue resolution and identifying solutions to known problemsAdditional responsibilities include the following:• Cisco Callmanger, Unity, Voice Gateway and VoIP design and support. • Coordination of change testing and implementation in a production environment• Participate in various projects as a technical expert and/or as a technical resource• Provide management with scheduled reports on the health, availability and performance of core systems and services.df-tc

Experience/Skills
The candidate must have a thorough technical background with the ability to function with little to no supervision or direction. He/She must meet the following requirements to be considered for the position;Required technical skills and/or experience:• Current CCIE or equivalent experience in routing, switching and security. CCVP or equivalent experience in VoIP, gateways, callmanager and Unified Messaging. • Background as a lead engineer or administrator in medium to large diverse LAN/WAN security and VoIP Cisco environment. • Experience working in mid-size network operation centers or multi-site networks• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (10 years+) required• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAdditional experience that is desired:• Cisco Callmanger 4.x• Cisco Unified Messaging• Windows Server 2003• NetIQ or Ciscoworks monitoring• Verizon or AT&T MPLS• Riverbed Wan Acceleration
