Details:

The Senior Ops Engineer WebLogic Integrations Administration is a member of an operations team within IT Services.
He or she is responsible for playing a role in the problem management, the change management, the security administration, the scheduling management, the disaster recovery management and 24x7 operations support of enterprise and local applications and the management of the outsourcing partnerships.
This individual is able to provide operations support to enterprise-wide applications and has a deep understanding of operation procedures, applications architecture, enterprise application integration and multi-party application collaboration.
This individual is responsible for maintaining documentation and implementing processes that meet the IT general control normative model to ensure SOX compliance.
The incumbent must understand the business practices of his or her customers within all business units and adapt appropriate systems support solutions to business problems or requirements.



Duties and Responsibilities


Maintenance and support of production environment(s) for EAI infrastructure & participating applications

Working with Integration architecture office to handle change requests and capacity planning

Performing production system patches, bug fixes or software upgrades

Providing first- and second-level support for EAI production solution(s)

Collaborating with architecture group to define release strategy and migration procedures

Defining production support requirements, escalation procedures, troubleshooting guides, etc

Essential Skills and Experience

The individual should have experience with all computer operations methodologies. The individual must have experience working in one or more of the following environments:

Provide 24x7 operations support using TSO, Strobe, RACF, Changeman, TeamTrack, Peregrine, FTP, CICS, MVS, View Direct, Zeke, TCP/IP, Sun Unix (Solaris), expert BEA WebLogic administration skills are mandatory, Weblogic integration administration is a must, Portal administration, iPlanet administration, CVS, ANT CRON, Java, Perl, MQ Series, Formscape, Foglight, EAI solutions (Tibco, BEA), CGI scripting and general data communications knowledge.
PC applications using Outlook, MS-Project, VISIO, Risk Navigator, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows NT and 9X.
Have knowledge of and comply with all SOX requirements, SDLC requirements and IT Roadmap development projects.
Installation, maintenance, administration, troubleshooting, monitoring performance and stability, and on-going operation of the Middleware platform (integration suite of tools) in various environments.
Five or more years of related work experience is desirable. Minimum of 5 years experience working in a large IT organization, with at least 2 years in middleware products administration (emphasis on operations & production support), and proven success in customer support, mentoring, and providing guidance in the areas of integration services.

Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S) from four-years of college or university education or equivalent technical certification is desirable.

Experience with Weblogic Integration development would be a nice to have.

Experience with Documentum administration would be a nice to have.
