Sr. Oracle Developer




Primary Responsibilities:


- This person will be responsible for developing new applications and/or modifying and enhancing existing applications using the various Oracle development tools

- Experience should include the development of Oracle software for the purpose of data conversion, interfaces, custom reports and forms using the Oracle Development tool set

- This person must be able to produce quality technical specifications and software and able to perform and document test and validation procedures

- This position will also be responsible for supporting multiple modules within the corporate Oracle E-Business suite

- Position will require interacting with offshore teams
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

- This position will require good communications skills and ability to work effectively as part of a large project team





Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills:

·SQL and PLSQL

·Oracle Forms, Reports and JDeveloper , AOL (Oracle application Object Library)

·Scripting

·5 + years experience in an Oracle Application development environment resolving issues on the Oracle Application side as well as the database component of it.

·Experience using Oracle Applications: GL (General Ledger), AP (Accounts Payable), FA (Fixed Assets), PA (Project Accounting), AR (Accounts Receivable), OCO (Oracle Customers Online), Inventory, Order Management.

·Understand system development life cycle processes

·Strong problem solving and analytical skills


Additional skills preferred:

·Design and implementation using Java, J2EE, in an Oracle and Linux based environment will be a plus.

·Knowledge in Advanced Collections, iReceivables, iPayment will be a plus

·Order Management

·Purchasing and Procurement

·Strong knowledge of supply chain modules including: ASCP, MRP/Master Scheduling and Manufacturing
