Two Senior Programmers needed!

SKILL LEVEL: Two positions, one permanent position that is mid level, and one contract position that is senior level. The contract position is a 6 month contract position. This is a conservative banking environment. This position is considered a Sr. level and requires maturity and independence. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their work and who has strong communication skills because they will have heavy user interaction.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will function as a Sr. Programmer responsible for analyzing user requirements, designing, coding, testing, and implementing efficient client/server applications software and systems. Will be doing both new development as well as maintenance and will deal with users extensively. Primary languages are C#.NET and VB.NET on a SQL Server 2000 backend. All new development work is being done in C#.NET.

Experience/Skills
REQUIREMENTS:

=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience doing full life cycle development with Visual Basic 6.0, C#, or another object oriented language.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Must have extensive development experience with SQL Server 6.5/7.0/2000 and must know how to write stored procedures and SQL statements.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Must have knowledge of object oriented programming (OOP).
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Requires excellent verbal and written skills because candidate will be working with technical and non-technical users.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Must work well in a heavily structured environment that follows methodical project plans to implement new systems.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Must be able to work with very little supervision and work on multiple projects at the same time.

TARGET PAY RATE: $35-40 per hour for contract; $60,000-65,000 for permanent
