Primary Responsibilities Include:

=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Analyzing and generating test cases and test scripts/scenarios including: utilizing existing test scripts/scenarios, modifying existing test scripts/scenarios, and/or creating new test scripts/scenarios, to test the impact of releases on multiple systems
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Reviewing Functional Specifications/Requirements and Use Cases
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Configuring test environments for all types of testing including software, hardware and OS
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Performing automated and manual testing based on written test plans and cases and knowledge of the requirements and end user needs
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Performing functional, regression, stress, load, and performance testing
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Analyzing and troubleshooting potential defects to isolate variables and likely causes
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Developing and maintaining test scripts using XML, Perl, Python, VBScripts, etc.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Coordinating with Business Units and Developers

Experience/Skills
A Successful Candidate Will Have:

=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Bachelors degree
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 7+ years software quality assurance/quality control experience
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Intense SQL scripting experience
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Must have experience creating new and modifying existing test scripts (i.e. Perl, Python, XML, VBScript, UNIX shell scripts, etc.)
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 2+ years with the Mercury suite of tools including Quick Test Professional (QTP) and LoadRunner
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 3+ years of experience with Test Director or other test defect tracking tools
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Understanding of relational database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, stored procedures, PL/SQL and/or TSQL queries, etc.)
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Thorough knowledge of QA strategies, processes, procedures, and tools
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report and document testing efforts

The Ideal Candidate may also possess:

=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Quality Assurance Certifications, i.e. CSTE, CSQA
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Experience working with a Rational Unified Process or other development methodologies
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 A background in White Box or Programming (C#, Java/J2EE, C++, etc.)
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Understanding of Object Oriented Analysis methodologies and tools, including RUP and UML
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Knowledge of mortgage banking terminology, processes and procedures
