ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform internal and supplier audits in accordance with published schedules. Review and follow-up corrective action submittals. Forward accepted corrective actions to Director of Quality Assurance for final approval.

Review new and revised COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL engineering drawings for accuracy. Denote quality acceptance by initial or signature in the drawing acceptance block.

Initiate and/or revise Quality Assurance manual, procedures and work instructions as directed by the Director of Quality Assurance.

Update and mail quarterly supplier quality and delivery rating reports. Advise the Director of Quality Assurance of problem suppliers.

Complete customer surveys and participate in customer on-site audits for COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL. Accompany customers during the audit and provide any requested information and documentation.

As the primary individual assigned with the responsibility to transition, and maintain all Quality documentation to comply with AS9. This responsibility includes AS9 awareness training and implementation as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance.

Responsible for obeying all HSE rules, regulations/policies, and to demonstrate safe work practices at all times.

Wear required PPE where needed, whether on Company premises or when visiting off-site suppliers.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education and/or Experience

_B.A._ Degree from a 4-year college or university or _5 years__ from technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficient in English
A minimum of _4 to _5_ years in a Quality Dept.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, and sampling theory.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database systems; Internet software; and Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Certificates, licenses, registrations
Evidence of US person is required under ITAR
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certification
