Sr. SQL Programmer (w/ Healthcare) - DTS/SSIS

Location: Bedminster, NJ
Duration: Full-time/perm


Responsibilities:
• Design and develop SSIS packages.
• Perform mappings and translations from large files into SQL Server.
• Design and develop SQL stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Import/Extract large data sets from data warehouse environment.
• Must interact with clients to obtain specifications and formats.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
• Understanding of .NET 2.0 or higher framework, C#, ADO.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML/XSL/XSLT a plus.


Requirements:
• MUST have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of Information Technology experience working with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.
• Must have solid understanding of programming SQL objects (procedures, triggers, views, functions) in SQL Server 2000/2005/2008. • Experience optimizing SQL queries.
• Must have experience and understanding of DTS/SSIS.
Experience in performing mappings and translations from large files into SQL Server.
• Advanced understanding of T-SQL, indexes, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, etc.
• Must be detail-oriented. Must work under limited supervision. Must demonstrate good analytical skills as it relate to data identification and mapping.
• MUST have excellent oral communication skills
• Must be flexible and able to multi-task and be able to work within deadlines
• Must be team-oriented, but also be able to work independently.
• Understanding of .NET 2.0 or higher framework, C#, ADO.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML/XSL/XSLT a plus
.• Healthcare industry experience a plus
