Rezult continues to pride itself on presenting technology professionals with prestigious opportunities nationwide. We are currently in search of a Sr. Security Engineer to fulfill an immediate vacancy.

This individual will be responsible for a high level of information security for a corporate enterprise environment. Responsibilities include:
? Monitor new exploits and vulnerabilities as they become available, or are announced and promulgate this information across the enterprise.
? Vulnerability scan, track, and manage the enterprise patch application process
? Ensure that signatures for serious vulnerabilities are implemented in IDS systems
? Monitor various IDS systems and other logging and devices to discover and respond to potential security events.
? Coordinate and perform effective incident response
? Perform security system engineering, risk assessments, provide network security design assistance
? Develop, test, evaluate, and implement information security solutions
? Assist in network and system security audit and penetration testing

We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of 3 years of IS security experience in a large environment. Must possess in-depth information security fundamentals, and understand techniques used to compromise and exploit various vulnerabilities. Must be familiar with intrusion detection system event monitoring, analysis, and incident response. Must also be well versed in various techniques used by information security personnel and hackers.

Networking knowledge of Microsoft / UNIX and/or Linux operating systems required.

Experience with shell, C/C++/C#, PERL, and Visual Basic a plus.
