Description
We are searching for a Desktop Analyst to support our Healthcare client on a Contract to Hire basis. I. Job SummaryProvide support and monitoring for desktop systems located at Irving facilities.II. Accountabilities 1. Provide desk side IT support to users, clients, and partners.2. Work closely with fellow IT staff, including service desk, system administrators, and software developers, to ensure quick and efficient knowledge management and resolution of IT issues. 3. Ensure all desktop systems, including PCs, printers, and associated peripherals, maintain expected levels of performance.4. Track and manage all desktop incidents and service requests via defined IT service management tools and processes.5. IT Purchasing – Work with IT, accounting, and vendor staff to prepare POs and ensure on time delivery of IT hardware and software per business requirements.6. IT Asset Management – Ensure real time tracking of IT hardware, software licenses, and support agreements.7. Set up and maintain media storage procedures and processes.8. Communicate system status and issues to appropriate staff, clients, and support people.9. Provide and maintain all documentation supporting desktop-based systems.III. Job Requirements 1. 2 year college/technical degree, preferably computer related2. Excellent written and oral communications and organization skills3. Good customer service skills
