Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and approve modifications to existing software to correct errors or to improve its performance

Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and scope

Develop and direct workflow testing and validation procedures and documentation.

SharePoint Specific Requirements:

Experienced SharePoint Developer will be responsible for the development and implementation of SharePoint applications and workflows to support infrastructure operational processes.

In this position, you will be responsible for, specifically, but not limited to the following;

Gathering requirements from functional owners and translating them into expected SharePoint sites and workflows

Integration of enterprise content with SharePoint to include, content management, content indexing, personalization, workflow, and user access management and restricting access to content.

Refresh and evolution of existing SharePoint content to ensure consistency of data, links, and processes

Preparation and maintenance of related technical documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Expert level experience with Microsoft SharePoint technologies, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, SharePoint Designer and Web Part Development

Good Experience deploying, managing, administering and monitoring SharePoint

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field

SharePoint Administrator certification desirable, but not required

Experience focused on SharePoint API development, publishing, and windows workflow development

Strong Analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills

Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, to meet deadlines and to complete time-sensitive duties, as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent training required

5 years of overall IT experience required

Responsibility level:

Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)

Strong ability to work independently and manage personal time (Required)

Strong knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models (Required)

Qualifications:

SharePoint - 3+ Years

SharePoint Designer - 2+ Years

Windows SharePoint Services 3+ Years
