Responsible for building new, or enhancing existing Web and client based applications; integrating in-house and packaged software; data modeling, etc.
Duties: Collect and understand the requirements for software development/enhancement assignments. Produce detailed design specifications for software development/enhancement assignments. Develop/enhance software based on the technical design specifications. Test the developed/assigned software to ensure all functional and technical requirements are met
5 years of IT application development, database design, and/or system integration experience. Visual Studio 2008 C#, .NET (web and client development) Team Foundation Server Oracle database on a server. IIS 7.0 Windows 2003/Windows 2008 Business Object/Microsoft Reporting Services SSIS (SQL Server Integration Service)/Informatica Power Center ETL tool SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Service) Other Qualifications and Experience: Enterprise semantic information modeling based on the Common Information Model (CIM). Experience with the Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect tool UML modeling experience, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. Web services development, preferably using webMethods Enterprise Application Integration tools and the Visual Studio development environment
