Description
Large Aerospace and Defense company is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer. This is for supporting precision payload integration testing in the Los Angeles area for the duration of the test phase, hence the candidate will be based in the Los Angeles area. The candidate will help to ensure pointing control performance of a precision reactionless 2 axis gimbal mechanism during integration with the optical payload. Will be point-of-contact for all payload pointing control issues with access to support and advice from the main facility. Must be a proven self-starter. Duties include assisting in the 1) development of test command scripts, 2) analysis of test and simulation data, 3) resolution of test anomalies and 4) development of matlab based analysis tools. Must have a good controls background, exposure to hardware test and familiarity with Matlab programming. Knowledge of ADA is a plus. Candidate Must Have : 1. Precision HardwareTesting - Analysis of test and simulation Data 2. Matlab Programming 3. Gimbal Pointing Control System 4. Good Controls background 5. Development of test command scripts Client will consider out of state candidates and will provide some relocation assistance.
