Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Sr. Software Engineer:•Develop C# applications using Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5•Attend daily SCRUM meetings and other planning and/or team meetings•Work closely with Project Managers and/or Dev Leads *Mentor/Help other engineers on the team•Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assignedFor further consideration please apply online or send you resume and qualifications to sam.shields@rht.comdf-tc

Experience/Skills
Education and Experience Required for the Sr. Software Engineer:•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience•8-12+ years developing windows applications•At least 2-3 years experience with C#Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:•Strong understanding and experience with object oriented design principles•Demonstrated knowledge of threading, events, delegates, etc.•High volume/transaction experience a plus•Experience with WCF or ASMX web services preferred•Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases•Performs well in a dynamic environment and excels at learning new technologies•Code repository skills required•Excellent Verbal/Written communication skills•Proven troubleshooting skills•Experienced in proposing and executing solutions to existing problems•Excels at developing and following best practices including team based processes•Ability to estimate time on tasks and complete them accordingly
