Sr. Software Engineer- Web Development, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Our client will sponsor for H1B visa transfers - must be currently in the US to be considered. Job Description: Sr. Software Engineers play a key role in multi-discipline teams working on new products and solutions. You'll be part of a team that designs, implements and tests web-based software for medical practice management. You will also be involved in the selection, configuration, and integration of software development or support tools. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of software products. Additionally, innovation is key as you design and develop major functional and performance enhancements for existing products and produce new software product components. You will review requirements, specifications, designs and peer code to assure product quality. Job Duties:Responsibilities include design, development, and unit testing of new functionality and code enhancements. The ability to prepare estimates for design, programming, unit testing is required, as well as the ability to determine the impact of proposed projects on current workloads. The individual must be able to define the interfaces between proposed projects and existing systems, software, and hardware. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to meet the responsibility for inter-team communication of technical and interface specifications. Duties include: Problem solving, design and development efforts, Write code, Unit test, Analyze Requirements & Functional Specifications and estimate level of effort, Participate in development of system requirements specifications.,Participate in and/or Create Design documents.,Presentation skills.,Provides support to the Development team members as needed. QualificationsBS in Computer Science or equivalent with 7+ years of experience or MS with 5+ years of experience.Experience and knowledge* 5 or more years of software development experience including ASP.NET, HTML/DHTML, C#, VB.NET, (T)SQL, C++ in a PC Windows and web environment. * 3 or more years of experience in development of software in .NET platform using C# and ASP.NET. * Excellent with Object-Oriented Technologies, especially UML.* Experience with EDI, XML, SOAP and Web Services.* Exceptional debugging skills.
