We are currently recruiting for a Sr. Software Developer to join our Raleigh Development team.  Responsibilities Include:
• Performs complex product design, systems analysis and programming activities on applications software which may require some research
• Performs design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems
• Participates in product design meetings
• Prepares technical documentation of product sub-systems
• Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products
• Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions to the problems
• Performs coding, unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits with high quality deliverables
• May assist in performing on-site client work on moderately complex applications
• Drives process improvement
• Acts as technical mentor to others
• Will work with offshore development teams/projects
• Participates actively in and may lead code reviews
• Implements critical software or system changes
• Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Travel (including international) up to 10%

Experience/Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science or other relevant combination of training and education
• Typically requires a minimum of eight years of technical experience in product design and product support
• Microsoft developer certification preferred
• 1-3 years working as part of an Agile development team required (SCRUM)
• Experience with Test Driven Development preferred
• Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Development tools (.Net 2.0 or newer, C#, SQL Server 2005/2008, IIS 6/7)
• Experience designing & developing n-tier applications required
• Experience with .Net Winforms required
• Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation
• Extensive experience in using relevant programming languages
• Excellent analytical and design skills at multiple product level
• Excellent skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation
• Thorough understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance
• Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
