Description
Seeking a senior software engineer with excellent C/C++ programming skills, OOD and OO Analysis skills, to work in a cross-platform environment. The successful candidate will work with a small team to design and develop new software and features for the company's core products. He/she will co-ordinate with other engineering groups at the company to ensure that the features work within the company's code base and product range. The successful candidate will be familiar with modern design techniques and development practices including modular design, software re-use and techniques for writing robust, high performance and extensible code. This is a senior software engineer who can produce complex code and solve complex engineering problems.
Details of Job Functions:
Code fluently and efficiently using C/C++ to develop software on Unix/Linux and Windows.
Assist in gathering requirements, and development of system architecture and design.
Produce object-oriented design (OOD) and design patterns.
Work within the framework of formal methodologies, and conform to software coding best practices.
Assist in developing and reviewing test plans, and in design and code reviews.df-tc

Experience/Skills
7 or more years of professional development experience on Windows and Unix platforms.
Fluency in multi-threaded C/C++ on Win32 and Unix.
The following are highly desirable: experience coding kernel-level software; experience coding networking software (e.g., sockets, network protocols).
The following are highly desirable: Security protocols (SSL, TLS, IPSec, PKI); CISSP security certification.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and set priorities.
Strong problem solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to follow through; good project time estimation ability.
