Our top client in the Fort Worth area is looking for an amazing Sr. System Administrator. Below is a quick over view of the position .

Our client is looking for a Sr. System Administrator. Our client has multiple tasks and projects to assign this person at any given time. Overall they need someone with a strong background in Windows 2003 Server as well as Linux. Additionally, this person must have VMWare ESX 3.5 experience. The ideal candidate would have proficiency in both manual and automated Red Hat Enterprise 5.0 Linux installations.

It would be a great plus for this Administrator must have a strong working knowledge of Active Directory. They will not have full responsibility of Active Directory but at times would help with basic issues.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic system administration responsibilities that would include implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, and security. Additionally be able to perform systems backups and recovery procedures; writes or modifies basic scripts to resolve performance problems; maintains system documentation and logs; performs or assists in troubleshooting and diagnosing production problems.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

W2K3 server experience

VMWare Esx 3.5 experience

Red Hat Ent 5 experience

Good Active Directory skillset
