Work with cutting-edge technology at a leading Telecommunications Firm! Are you ready to be a Sr. Systems Administrator with a leading Telecommunications Firm? Are you a self-starter with a desire for continuous learning? Then we have a position for you! In this role you will provide service for UNIX (Solaris/HPUX/LINUX) servers, which included requirement analysis, researching solutions, development, documentation, deployment, maintenance, upgrades and administration of client-managed servers and services. This position will provide technical training and support for other members of the team and operations staff and serve as technical liaison for the department to provide services and interface with clients and vendors. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and autonomously presenting a professional and technically competent image to our customer as the client representative. As a Sr. Systems Administrator you will serve as a member of a Managed Hosting Operations (MHO) Deal Team that provides dedicated support to an MHO client located in Cambridge, MA. This highly visible position requires excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, as well as expert technical abilities. This position will work on-site and will be part of a team of server administrators, supporting client-managed UNIX (LINUX/Solaris/HPUX) servers. You will be primarily responsible for fault management, technical resolution of troubles, and change execution. Expertise with HP-UX, Windows Systems Platforms, Shell Scripting, Veritas/Logical Volume Manager, and Solaris is a must! Any experience with VM/ESX Management, XP1024, Netapp, EVA storage, and BCVs (Business Continuity Volumes) is a strong plus! A Computer Science Degree is required.
