2 year + Contract TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Solid understanding of software design/development principles, the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software debugging techniques, and test driven development Extensive experience in development and deployment of n-tier J2EE applications Knowledge of J2EE Design Patterns & Experience with OO Analysis and Design Hands-on work on Web Services with SOAP, AXIS, WSDL experience Hands-on work with EJBs and MDBs Extensive experience on XML and XSD Exp. with Weblogic 9.2/8.1, Ant Exp. with Informatica ETL tool Exp w/Biotech or Pharma Company desired. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for analysis and evaluation of existing systems and information. Perform analysis of customer business needs, identify and define detailed business/user requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions. Responsible for documenting the detailed description of system needs, system functions and steps required to develop or modify existing applications. Analyze and translate business and functional requirements into technical requirements to create high level technical design. Provide input into detailed project estimates and project plan that includes working with technical leads to establish priorities, provide estimates for task assignments and ensure that developed functionality meets requirements. Supports and contributes to module and integration testing and functional testing.df-tc
