Top Notch Sr. Systems Analyst needed for a major Southern California Client!! Title: Senior Systems Analyst Pay Rate: Competitive Pay. Job Description: This individual will develop Business requirements, Functional requirements, Technical requirements, Unit and Integration testing, Deployment Planning They wil be highly influential on final decisions that have direct and important impact on information systems of the department, business unit or company. Provides analysis, recommendations, consultation, and advice. Duties and assignments are complex. Leads small to medium sized projects that are moderately complete or componets of large complex projects. Duties: Provides detailed analysis of complex data, processes and systems. Recommends new development efforts, system changes impacting multiple systems, and other complex projects. Develops project documentation, documents requirements, and develops detailed functional specifications. May create current and future state models. Facilitates joint application design sessions with project team. Identitifes and evaluates impact of changes to systems. Acts as a liaison between technical and business groups to resolve issues. Provides input to test plans. Participates in testing or acts as a liasion with QA team to complete testing and ensures test results meets requirements. Works independently to achieve management/division/business unit. Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making significant choices, recommendations, or decisions. Assignments may require originality and ingenuity. Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to to apply concepts, principles, practices, and procedures of one or more areas of IT specialization. Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate to a broad technical and non technical audience. Excellent analytic and problem solving skills. Highly proficient in using systems analysis tools, data modeling and data analysis. Ability to work effectively as a team member and lead teams. Strong facilitation and meeting management skills. Strong knowledge of project management and SDLC processes and methodology. 4 year college degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience. 5+ years systems analysis experience.
