Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate will provide a multi level technical support function in a 24x7 enterprise focusing on diagnosing, reproducing and fixing software and hardware issues. This position will resolve customer problems reported via the telephone, web, E-mail, and/or remote monitoring. Responsible for all level of customer interaction in a 24x7 call center environment diagnosis, problem reproduction and ultimate resolution. Initiate, track and resolve customer issues utilizing the latest tools and technical infrastructure. Create reproducible test cases, file bug reports, and coordinate delivery of fixes. Responsible for case level documentation and authoring knowledge base articles. Responsible for managing customer expectations by keeping all case details up to date in CRM system.

Qualifications/Experience:
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years in a high tech environment with 3+ years experience in system administration or senior levels of technical support
Experience in a start-up environment desired
Knowledge of CRM call center systems (Oracle) and interface processes
Experience troubleshooting and interfacing with storage systems, both NAS and SAN
Experience in storage protocols (CIFS, NFS), back-up applications and data migration tools
Experience in working with UNIX (Solaris, IBM-AIX, HP-UX, Linux) and Windows (NT/2K/XP).
Hands-on networking experience and troubleshooting

Desired (But not required)
Familiarity with SNMP and management frameworks such as HP OpenView and Tivoli
