Description
Senior UNIX System Administrator for Sun Solaris and HP UX environment Must have extensive knowledge of HP UX and HP Superdome architecture andoperations. Must have extensive knowledge of Sun Solaris as well. Must possess 5+ years of Solaris experienceMust possess 5+ years of HP UX experience Should have strong background in performance tuning, kernel modifications and overall operations of large scale global environments. Strong networking background is also required. Knowledge of EMC storage systems is required. The well-qualified candidate shall meet these additional requirements: The candidate must have very strong communication skills and be able toarticulate themselves in a verbal and written form. Must work well under sustained pressure and be able to work independently. Must be able to work consistently and be productive. Demonstrated team player with interpersonal skills and strong drive, excellentwork ethics and strong commitment to the team and the organizations success. Strong verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to effectively communicate with peers, developers, technical management and business management. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a high pressure, customer service oriented, and team oriented collaborative environment. Ability to plan effectively to complete tasks on schedule and clearly document results while following standard processes. Knowledge of Veritas Foundation Suite is a plus.
