Sr. Usability Specialist

Develop user interface wireframe specifications, perform software usability evaluations, and create written recommendations. Support/perform usability tests.

Skills Required: 

• 6 years overall IT experience that includes:


• 3 years experience with wireframe specifications, software usability evaluations.


• 2 years focus group facilitation.


• 2 years graphic design, CSS, XHTML.


• 2 years Web development experience (html/cgi/scripting)


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Familiarity with project plans


• Experience with usability methods, growth of understanding of usability principles, exposure to multiple organizations and software interfaces

Skills Preferred: 
Applicants should demonstrate a passion for usability and be familiar with multiple authors/principles on the subject.

Education Required: 
Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors/Ergonomics

Preferred - Masters Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors/Ergonomics
