Position PurposeContribute in the design and construction of ASP.NET offerings for our internal and external use.Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Sr. Web Developer•Develop C# web applications using Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5•Write WCF Services as directed•Attend daily SCRUM meetings and other planning and/or team meetings•Work closely with Project Managers and/or Dev Leads• Mentor/Help other Web Developers on the team• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assignedFor further consideration please apply online or send your resume and qualifications to sam.shields@rht.comdf-tc

Experience/Skills
Education and Experience Required for the Sr. Web Developer•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience• 5-10 years experience in web site/application development•At least 2-3 years experience with ASP.NET and C#Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required•Strong understanding and experience with object oriented design principles•Proficient in using HTML, DHTML and CSS•Must be familiar with Javascript/AJAX concepts•Experience with WCF or ASMX web services preferred•Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases•Code repository skills required•Excellent Verbal/Written communication skills•Proven troubleshooting skills•Experienced in proposing and executing solutions to existing problems•Excels at developing and following best practices including team based processes•Ability to estimate time on tasks and complete them accordingly
