Description
Duration: 12 -15 months + Duties & Tasks Level 3 server configuration and tuning support Server/site layout Troubleshooting Application architecture and design. Skills Required: Comfortable working in Linux environment from command line. Experience with HTTP servers. e.g. Apache, IBMHTTP. Experience configuring HTTP config files and setting redirects, inside the HTTP server. Ability to set up and configure WebSphere version 5 and 6, on new OS platforms Experience managing security settings in Web Sphere. Ability to perform performance checks on Web Sphere applications, and analyze reports. Ability to configure Web Sphere DB2 connections and trouble shoot as necessary. Experience with Web Sphere Network Deployment Manager, and administrating Web Sphere clusters. Solid understanding of DNS, and URL redirects. PLUSES: AIX 5.
